Agreement with TDI adds high-power technologies for mission critical applications

Ultimate Renaissance (UR), the Swindon based power specialist, has become the sole design-in distribution partner in the UK and Ireland for Transistor Devices Inc (TDI). The new agreement expands UR’s power portfolio with high-reliability, high-power solutions for mission critical applications such as those found in the oil, gas, telecommunications and aerospace industries.

TDI specialises in high reliability, high power systems including intelligent DC power systems for battery backed telecom applications, rectifiers, inverters, and rack mounted power supplies with output powers from 500W to 6kW. Under the terms of the new agreement, UR will provide and support the full range of TDI technologies, allowing the company to deliver a wide variety of high-reliability standard and custom designs.
