UR Group completes the set of environmental, health & safety and quality certifications

UR Group is pleased to announce it has recently received two international certifications, completing a hat-trick of highly sought-after certifications. This clearly outline the company’s long standing commitment to delivering the very best customer service and being environmentally-friendly.

UR Group achieved ISO 14001 standard certification for its environmental management system. This standard applies to those environmental aspects which an organization has control and over which it can be expected to have an influence. The company is also certified ISO 18001, a standard which recognizes UR Group’s commitment to eliminating or minimizing risk to employees and other interested parties who may be exposed to Occupational Health & Safety risks.

These two certifications complement the ISO 9001:2000 standard certification which UR Group achieved as early as 2001; a global standard for process quality, ISO 9001:2000 identifies companies dedicated to providing a customer with the best service possible. Achieving these certifications is a milestone which demonstrates UR Group’s commitment to a consistent level of quality recognised under International standards. Although many British companies hold ISO certifications, very few actually hold all those three.
