UR Group Israel has been named “best distributor, sales performance in EMEA in 2008” by NeoPhotonics, the fourth-ranked firm in Deloitte's “Technology Fast 50” listing for Silicon Valley. UR Group Israel wins this accolade for the second year running. This represents the fourth successive year for which UR Group Israel wins an award in the field of optics, clearly establishing the company as a leader in this field.

With the addition of Neophotonics the UR Groups portfolio has expanded its range into passive optical components as well as the current active optical components.
