New 48VDC input inverters from Ultimate Renaissance combine space saving 1U high form factor with scalability from 500VA unit up to 4.5kVA. True sine wave technology ensures a high quality, low-noise 120VAC or 220VAC 50/60Hz output with below 1% THD, and hot swappable capability maximises uptime for connected equipment.
The TDI LPE500-series also supports N+1 redundancy for high availability and high reliability applications. Single-phase and three-phase options are available, while support for CANbus communications enables easy integration with an industry standard infrastructure, to support a wide range of control and monitoring modes including automatic software control.
The units are also available ready-integrated into a 1U high shelf, with up to three LPE500s providing 1500VA in a single 19-inch equipment mount shelf, or 1000VA with N+1 redundancy. By stacking modules vertically, a shelf with up to nine LPE500s giving a 4500VA shelf is also available. Each LPE500 achieves 86% typical efficiency, allowing highly efficient overall power delivery per shelf and easing thermal management. A variable speed internal cooling fan is also provided.
The wide input voltage range, 40.5-60VDC makes the LPE500 suitable for almost any telecom or networking application, and anywhere a nominal 24VDC or 48VDC supply is provided. These include solar and wind power generators, fuel cell systems and test stands, and utility/facility backup power systems. Micro cell base stations and customer premise equipment are among the telecom applications to benefit from these small, efficient, low-profile inverters.
Carrying UL1950, CE mark and EN 60950 safety approvals, as well as EN 300 and EN 55020 EMC certificates, and presenting input-good and output status LEDs at the front panel, the LPE500 delivers a turnkey inverter solution for systems integrators.
